Heater fan

This maybe me just being thick but my fan only works on 3 and 4
do I need to replace the whole unit or is there a simple fix?

4 screws

remove glove box
remove resistor and replace

If I had a penny for the amount of these I have fixed with the Maplin Ceramic Resistors i'd have 23p *laughs*.
