Is there going to be a Pride of Longbridge convoy/show this year?

If so on what date?

Thanks
Darren.

Provisional date is the 12th April from a friend of mine. I sent the organisers and email to confirm details but I haven't heard anything back yet. Once I know more I'll post up.

The details I have been given are:
The 3rd Annual Pride of Longbridge Rally is now confirmed for Saturday 12th April.
The procession of Longbridge-built and Austin 'chariots' will assemble from 10:00 at the Hopwood Services (J2 of the M42).
At around 11:00 the first cars will leave towards the factory at 'Q' Gate and Cofton Park.
Although this wasn't from the organisers themselves. I am still waiting to hear back from there.

I intend to be there for that time and I look forward to meeting everyone else there. :)

Final confirmation has gone up on the Austin Federation website.
PRIDE OF LONGBRIDGE RALLY 2008

Confirmation.

This years Pride of Longbridge Rally will be held on Saturday 12th April 2008, and is organized by the Rover Community Action Trust (RCAT) which supports those affected by the closure of “The Austin” (MG ROVER).

The rally marks the third anniversary of over 6000 workers being made redundant; and celebrates the cars, the work of the factory, and the people behind it.

The format will be similar to last year with a parade of cars starting from Hopwood Services junction 2 on the M42 at 1100hrs (Meet 10.00hrs), and converging on Cofton Park opposite to the main entrance of the factory (Q gate) on Low Hill Lane, Longbridge.

The rally is open to all Austin and Longbridge built vehicles including other marques whose engines and gearboxes were built or designed at Longbridge. There is no entrance fee or need to book in advance. Those of you who do not wish to join the parade may go to Cofton Park direct. The rally starts at 1100hrs at Cofton Park.
So lets have names of who is going to be there.

I will start off.
