For the 5th time in a row the missus' Rover 25 1.4 easily passed her French biannual CT (technical control).
Just one slight minor advisory: front fog lamps a tad too low!
I'm so glad for my 21 year old girl.

Thank you Chris.
I've just to reconnect 2 wires in the hatch grommet (those activating the rear washing) which are cut at the moment.
I guess I've to arrange another home-made grommet because I've to cut the old damaged one to gain access to the whole bunch of wires. A third one is slightly bare at one point and I've to protect it as well.
Is an good used grommet available? And mainly if available how to fit it right given that I don't intend to take off the whole harness?
Thanks a lot.

I think I'd be very glad too but does your missus know about the 21 year old girl!? ha ha

She doesn't look jealous for one reason: she doesn't care a jot about the car!
But - and it's nearly a miracle - she noticed that the car is now accelerating better since I've made some mods in the air box (more air and K&N cotton filter) and mainly since I've swapped the 48mm TB for the uprated 52mm MHB000261.
The uprated TB gives an unbelievable improvement: it's now as if I had a GTI really!
The uphill country roads I used to take in 3rd gear can now be easily run in 4th gear... and the accelerations are impressive. It breathes freely.
