Immobilised

After the car being stood for a year the battery was flat. Jumped using another car and alarm went off straight away. Now car is immobilised and will not turn over. Replaced fob battery. Still nothing.
Have tried pressing the button on the fob numerous times, nothing. Have tried the key in the drivers lock sequence, nothing. Have tried diconnecting and reconnecting the battery (both terminals), nothing.
Am losing the will here and sending ut to the crusher is tempting.
Can anyone out there help me get this car working again??
And is there an option to completely remove the pointless immobiliser?

Very helpful, thank you
I shall be in touch.
Could someone please DM me the location of the 5AS perhaps a picture & description.
I will have a look around the car today and see if I can find it myself.
