Rover 200 & 400 Owners Club

Just got back from there today - great show if you could ignore the rain but very few Rovers (apart from me in the car park)

I was there too, my first ever visit, and disappointedly only came across one Rover 200 on display, an 'M' plate 214 SLi in Nightfire Red.

was that the one where he seemed to be selling spares, in the non club section?

there was a BRM as well, seemed in good nick!

Yes, that was the one.

I was near the Dream Rides for Charity tent at 3:00 pm when they were offering rides at half price; went in this Carver One for the princely sum of £17.50:

By pure coincidence the route took me past where my 216 Cabriolet was parked in Knutsford so he dropped me off right at the car before he returned to Tatton Park; turned out to be the wildest taxi ride I've ever encountered and saved me a 1 hour walk back!!

£17.50....the car park was only £9

Your humour is lost on me!

If I'd paid the £9 to park (which I didn't) I would still have taken the Carver One ride (for the Charity's sake); I had a free ticket so didn't have to pay for entry and I also sold a spare ticket for £5, the recipient was happy and so was I.

The nett cost to me was £12.50!!

incidentally what colour is your hood - mine is beige but i always thought black looked better - although I have seen red!
