Rich Duisberg, rather amusing quick witted motoring author and general BL perv is kindly hosting 'An evening with' chat at Caffeine & Machine The Bowl on 21st October 2026, starting at 7pm.

We are hosting an event at Caffeine and Machine, The Bowl, in Ampthill, Beds, at 7pm on the 21st of October. No ticketing needed, just rock up, and if you have no BL cack to arrive in then any Lotus or other car is fine. Feel free to share, I am not on any social media.
I'll do 60-90 mins of stand-up with a loose ramble through the life of Thatcher's nemesis, Derek 'Red Robbo' Robinson, who would have turned 100 next year, by the way. I work through the book, sharing anecdotes and info on life at BL, with a particular focus on the industrial shenanigans, and the ... ahem, cars of various quality such factories produced. There'll be a Q&A and I'll flog a signed copy of the book if you like.
I've done this before at The Motorist, The Great British Car Journey, and Rustival, and enjoy it. I hope you will, too.
