Rover 200 & 400 Owners Club

I haven't had chance to put up the 2007 events one the website yet that I have in the pipeline. I am afraid PhD and starting employment has eaten most of my time up at present, so bear with me.

However I will list them in a sticky here:

6th May - Great British Family Car Meet
Location: Salston Manor Hotel, Ottery St Mary

1st July - MG Saloon Day
Location: Northampton and Lamport Railway
Contact: Lindsey Smith

There will be a club stand and gazebo present for this event. Please do not be put off by the words MG, all Rover 200 and 400s are also welcome. I go every year, and it is always a great meet. Camping and pre-event BBQ will also be arranged the night before.

The club is also sponsoring the Best Rover and Best Modified Rover awards on the day. Entry is a £1.

5th August - BL Rally - Confirmed
Location: Nene Valley, Peterborough.

This is still to be confirmed, I am waiting to hear back from the organisers.

I know I'm a newbie to the site but surely putting up 2006 events wouldn't be too beneficial as we are now in 2007? :

BMC/BL Rally has now been confirmed. I just spoke to the organisers, and there will be space for us on the field.

When your booking their will be space on the form to say which stand you are going on, it will be helpful to the organisers for you to fill this in.

They will then be able to gauge how much field space we need.

just out of curiosity anybody heading down to newquay this year for run to the sun ?

I might be down run to the sun long guts.

I'm definitly down there for the riviera run (mini show) at the start of may!
