Hopefully you've been reading you're new edition of The Viking magazine and will have seen the request for new articles.

In order to keep up the high standard we need a continued supply of interesting articles on all topics.

Events are usually covered by a committee member but articles about your own cars and how you were infuriated by, but then fixed, a technical problem would be most appreciated.

I'm going to have a look at some of the specification variations available throughout the life of the R8 - chassis, engine, trim etc - but this is a also an interesting topic area.

Contact details are in the mag.

Many Thanks, in advance.

Would an article covering the stripping and rebuilding of a head gasket be any use seeing as I'm doing mine and taking pics as I go along?

tbh, my project won't be starting till April now so maybe a half way in the next, next issue.

What about the fact that i sold a car missed it so much, i bought it back.

Or a restoration project that was sold to someone to continue the project, who then killed it with no oil and sold it to a vehicle stripper, miss that car, tried buying that one back as well but couldn't get it back to me in time.

I'm thinking of writing a couple of articles on brake & suspension variations available across the R8 range, I can cover the standard production area but I'd like to include aftermarket parts and conversions but have little knowledge of these.

Would anybody be able to provide info on these areas ?

I be interested to have some technical details, photographs, reviews and any links to sellers.

Any offers ?

620 ti callipers will fit with a very slight mod using zr160 or zs180 discs. ive got some honda legend/nsx brakes to go on my ti so the same principle would apply as fitting ti brakes to a r8
