Thats a stunner and almost free
, the manual mirror on the drivers side was rover doing some cost cutting
but went back but to two powered mirrors later on, odd it's not got power steering tho, but retro fitting it is not to difficult!!.

to begin with I believe that the basic model didn't have power steering.

I think your probably right, but i'm sure it say's sli on the boot lid and i think the si was the base model, maybe it was still an option in 1993 for the 1.4 models.

i remember my dad having a G reg mk2 214 sli when it was only 2 or 3 years old. it had electric mirrors and sunroof but not electric windows or power steering.

hi it looks like i will have to sell this nw as i am running out of space.i have had both rear arches replaced at the bottom.its moted till march 2011 ,taxed until end of october.
spare wheel+toolkit have never been used.it would make a excellent show car.
