@FP: Horrible :o

@jedivenom: That doesn't look too bad, just the wheels have a stupid colour. I'd personally make the grill and the bootlid black too.

The wheels should be white.

The alloys are not too bad really, i think they look ok! Everything else on the car is pretty aweful though!

I think on an R8 turbo some subtle bonnet vents could work and be useful for letting some heat out from the bay. Are the side vents Escort RST S2 ones? They seem to stand proud too much from the surface of the bonnet though. I thought proper genuine RST vents are almost flush fitting? I would definately consider some small bonnet vents on my car, the small flush vents fitted to the sides of the Impreza turbo mk1 are quite nice and subtle, as are my favourite vents the Jag XKR mk1 ones. Im unsure that these would fit into a Rover coupe bonnet though, as they are slightly curved in profile i think.

What do you folks think of bonnet vents on a turbo car, and which ones would you fit to a coupe or hatch turbo given the choice?

The Honda isn't too bad really, It just lacks shine and the paint matching leaves something to be desired. Shame about the green wheels too. I don't dislike bright lairy coloured wheels/colour coding, but you can't have more than 2 different colours and get away with it normally. Black wheels with a red lip would suit this car 100% better!

i do like subtle vents like the rst ones but my preference would be mk2 astra gte vents. unfortunately i dont think they would suit the 200 to well so your suggestion of rst ones is probably better or maybe mk1 cossie vents. they have to be cut in though and not just stuck on. i quite like the look of louvres. ive seen a fair few renault 5 turbos with these and they look spot on.

personally vented bonnets belong on RSs,evos and wrx/stis.think the coop bonnet bulge suits rovers better?but saying that you dont see many rovers with vents cut in.all down to personal taste. bulge or nothing for me.
