Greetings from the Netherlands!

Post by Concerto »

Hi all, greetings from the Netherlands. A friend of mine who goes by the name Essiej told me about this board, and I thought I'd sign up... As my username suggests, I don't actually own a rover - strictly speaking. I have one with some Honda badges slapped around. Hope you guys don't mind :angel

I used to own two hondas before, an EG3 Hatchback (1.3 75 BHP) and an EJ2 Coupé (1.5 102 BHP).

I currently own a Honda Concerto 1.6 Si automatic (112 BHP or so?). I love my Concerto. Best Honda I've ever had :) Hope you guys don't mind me having the same car as you with some different badges slapped onto it, haha :)

A Pic I made today:

You did a horrible job lowering it :P Stock suspension with vmaxxx lowering springs... can't recommend that to anyone. I'd rather spend some more and get a proper lowering kit if I ever lower it again, haha :tt2

Plastic Fantastic XD

Well, it should be quite easy to replace the strip on the dashboard with a wooden one from a Rover 216. Maybe I should check that out some day... Shame it won't be that easy for the door panels.

Welcome to the forum - always room for R8 variants. I may be wrong here, but I think that all European Honda Concertos were built at Longbridge in Birmingham - about 10% or production or 100,000 in total.
