Had a discussion about this in November. See https://www.rover200.org.uk/forums/topi ... ugs#p98628. Similar conclusions. I've been using Champion Long Life Platinum for the last three months. No problems and the engine seems to run a bit smoother at low revs and starts well. I do about 3000 miles a year, so these plugs should last a number of years. Had more problems with plug insulation failure rather than electrode erosion.
