Unfortunately I won't be there, the boiler is broke & I don't want to leave the house without heating all day.

No worries, that double post is caused by the problem we were talking about in the AGM today

lotus3512 - It was a pleasure to meet you at the AGM, thanks for coming. Great to have some young blood coming into the club. Hope to see you at future, less prosaic, events. Lovely car you've bought - I hope you have many, many miles of enjoyable driving in it. Best wishes, Duncan.

Thanks to all who came along yesterday to the AGM. It turned out to be a lovely sunny day, as you can see in the above photos.
There was lively debate - thank you Nigel

and the new club committee is as follows:-
Paul Vincent - Events Secretary*
Jonathan Living - Treasurer
Jeremy Howson - Membership Secretary
Duncan Gillingham - Secretary
John Batchelor - Chairman
Non-committee roles are as follows;-
Jeremy Howson - Magazine Editor*
Steve Huckle - Webmaster
Paul Fixter and John Batchelor - Social media managers
* The need for a 'understudies' for these roles was discussed as both Paul and Jeremy have been fulfilling them for some time. If anybody is interested in 'learning the ropes' with a view to taking over the role in the near future, this could start at any time throughout the year not just at the AGM. So if you are interested please discuss it with one of those names above.

I'm pleased this one went to an enthusiast. Other than my being a bit tall for the sunroof, and the asking price a bit ambitious, I'd have made the trip to Plymouth for it!
You'll find it being poverty spec is no barrier to becoming besotted. Mine, identical minus sunroof, plus rust and lunar mileage continues to defy 'common sense'!
