Which best spark plugs for my 1994 cabby?

I'm to renew my 4 spark plugs.
I've heard that the triple or quadruple electrode ones should last longer.
I'm not interested necessarily by a cheap buy. It's only money! I'm rather interested in quality and longevity.
Which would you advise?
Thanks a lot. :)

My local garages all fit NGK.

I've got Denso Iridium IK20 in my 216 but they only last for 20K miles...

Basically, high performance plugs seem to use platinum and more exotic materials for the electrodes with smaller and smaller diameters which won't last as long - 0.7, 0.4, even 0.2mm

Stick with normal copper plugs. I know it's boring but if garages are fitting NGK then you know they're doing that because they don't want customers coming back with complaints!

I brought these for my 91 416 DOHC
Reasonably priced plug.
Denso K20TT 4604 Spark Plug Twin Tip.
Certainly improved the starting of the car but only been in a year so only done about 1000 miles so don’t know how long they will last but happy with them still

I run NGK no issues on my 1.4 ,1.8 always found them spot on , I bought a sei few years ago that had fancy plugs made no difference that you could see/feel .

Yeah, same here. It's the one upgrade I've fitted that hasn't produced any discernible benefit. Maybe a few tenths of a mile extra on MPG but that's about it.

I’ve fitted iridium plugs before on a 216 and the engine was noticeably smoother

Its was probably ready for a service unless you.put new plugs in of each type you'll never really know .

Ironically literally just fit new spark plugs on my 214, I used NGK BKR6Es and it does look like the old plugs were the exact same brand and model so I can also vouch for the NGKs :wink3
