Hi all - new member here.
After selling my previous Honda engined model a number of years ago I’ve done it again and bought one of the increasingly rare R8 Cabrios. This one has a K series engine, but not too worried - I had an MGF for some time and other than one head gasket it was fine.
Need to do some fettling, a little bit of rust tidying up plus, most expensively, a new roof. But like most of you I’m going to save this one for the Nation.
Mechanically it seems fine - time alone will tell though!
Should be ready to visit local car meets/shows after Easter
I’m southern based - near Portsmouth actually - so won’t make be able to make many of the clubs events but I’ll be there in spirt.

Welcome buddie!
I've the same as Chris' and yours or nearly: 1994 1.4 limited edition (LHD), BRG, K engine, electric hood, beige leather trim, alloys.
Here is a yesterday picture, a quiet moment amidst rapeseed fields, while rallying against big boys in South of France (Caraman, Tarn).

Being a K-Series is a bit of a blessing now, as anecdotally some of the Honda engine parts seem to be a little harder to come by.

Welcome to the club!

Good morning, welcome & enjoy.

I've only had mine a few months and had the first run yesterday.

Thanks for the welcome folks. Do any of you live in along the South coast?

I was wondering if the club could have a presence at the Best of British meet at Beaulieu later in the year.

Any details of the BoB Beaulieu meet? :)

I'm in Devon and Portsmouth is almost as far as Birmingham for me :laughing2 , but it might be a good show for a few of us south of the M4 to attend.

Here's a link to the show.
Looks like it's limited to pre 2000 vehicles and £16 entrance price for adults, but this includes entry to the museum as well
