my wifes new car

Post by gbs100 »

Hi everyone is is my wifes new car.we picked it up last weekend from near boston in linconshire.
i wanted a coupe but i could not find a automatic one.
so i had to make do with a 216 cabby auto instead .
the body needs a bit of tlc but all the rusty bits are bolt on i.e. wings+doors.
It also needs a new rear screen.
Its not all bad news.
It has had only one owner from new.
It has a full service history.
Its fitted with the dohc honda engine.
I will let the pictures do the talking.

It is nice up close it just depends on whether or not she can engage the gears without help now.

I know exactly what you are going through as I'm in the same boat. I've seen a few parts on ebay that are in nightfire red but nothing close to where I live.

Would it not be cheaper to get a new wife that only needs 2 doors. *laughs*.

Shame to see her go but I guess that is you down to only 7 cars now to repair and drive then.

I'd just be happy if I had one of my 2 cars working correctly.
