Hi guys.
Long time since I posted on here!!

My 400 has recently started spluttering with any application of throttle. Idle's fine.
Quick searched suggest air leaks maybe the cause, but this is also occurring in neutral, under no load...

Anyone else experienced anything like this?

Does it drive normally off boost? (rules out earths)
Is it like hitting a wall while on boost (leak in actuator pipe or actuator fail)
Last time it was serviced (old plugs can cause issue as well as dizzy cap and ht leads)

More info needed.

It's just about drivable with virtually no throttle input.
Not getting that far.
Recent new plugs and leads, so will check the distributor.

check slam panel and gearbox earths as well.

For test grab a jumper lead and attach it to something earthable
