It's just an idea!
Some of you may know I run a windscreen business, so it may come as no surprise that my cars all run something different in that department and with both the Rovers gone for paint I turned my attention to organising the replacement windows. I have new heated rear screens that I've had by me for a while but I made some enquiries about having a small batch of heated front screens done exclusively for me. They are not cheap (around £300 at cost) and I have to buy 5, that's the minimum number so I will have possibly 3 spares, would anyone be interested? This is not a "for profit" offer, I'm happy to split the cost evenly and will sell at cost, with a copy of what I've paid as proof, but I want 2 heated green-tinted/blue toptint screens for my 220's, this is just an offer to share. just let me know.
If I've broken any rules by putting this up please do remove it and accept my sincere apologies.

No rules broken and it's good to get new ideas.
I'm expecting to need a replacement front screen at some point, either due to stones etc or because the milky corners will spread. I think it's the original 22 year-old screen.
How would the electrics work ? Presumably you'd need to wire it into a second switch, and properly fuse the whole thing...

I like Twin Cams, Single Cams, Turbos and 5-cam VVCs

Mine are 3dr's, same as the 5dr, but the price is the same for the coupe (obviously different glass though). Probably of interest to racers, rally boys and someone with a really nice car wanting something a bit special.
75's would be around the same money, I can ask if you like, but need to know if your 75 has a rain sensor on the glass.

Price sounds right.
I bought one for my 1969 Triumph 2000 a few years ago now and that cost £270.
Can't tell you if it's any good though as it's still in the loft
It's possible I'll get round to it this year but I have said that for at least the last 5
I have to say in the R8 though the heater works very quickly and is efficient in clearing the screen (a 214 SEi).

Triumph 2000? Make sure you get an older fitter when you want it fitted, it's positively a job from hell. I once came across a fitter from a rival company trying to fit one in a layby on the side of the road, he was in tears! Had been there for hours with the customer peering over his shoulder.

It's the chrome locking trim that's the pain as I understand it.

It's a solid steel chrome trim that has to be fitted after the screen is dropped into the frame. I've done 100's but still not easy!
Re: It's just an idea!
Maybe I will bring the car to you.
At some point it will need a good proving run as I am driving it through 10 countries in September on a club event

Pick a good weekend and Ludlow is a beautiful place to visit. Look forward to it!
