They will fit after a fashion. I bought a set not realising they were not for the R8 and used them for many years. They don't fit perfectly, particularly the rears, because the interior fittings (like the seat rails) are not in the right place, but they are better than nothing.

Many thanks for that. How about the front ones, particularly around the boot/petrol release?

Stick to 200 Bubble and 25/ZR/Streetwise mats buddy, almost the same car with a modded floor.

But the R3 mats don't have the cut out on the drivers mat for the boot & fuel flap release.
Don't forget that carmats4u produce tailored mats for the R8. You can choose different qualities of mat and different binding colours. Club members get a discount with them. They are of similar quality to the genuine Rover mats but you just don't get the Rover badge on them.

I've got a spare set I brought in error that you can try at POL if you feel like waiting that long. Beige set if you're interested in buying them.
