Hi there, I got the link from 47P2 on the 800 forum.

I currently own:

216 GTi DOHC 5 door that scratched to death,
216 GTi SOHC 2 door with what was thought to be head gasket failure ..It isnt.

A mk1 Caribbean blue 800 Tickford turbo
And,

A mk1 Caribbean blue 800 Tickford turbo , Yes that right .. i have 2 of everything .. weird huh !

I'l post up as to whats happened with the white 216 .. Its poorly .

Hope your babys still ok.
I've had few rovers over the time.
I liked the 216 GTi was just as fast as my 220 GSi & sounded like it had a turbo when standard.
Was better stearing as well,which was the same as a 220 GTi i had took hardly anything to get to lock.
