ECU/Immobiliser delete

Post by DiverJim »

Advice needed (again!) please. Now my rebuilt T16 is back in the car and all connected up, I'm having problems getting it started. I'm certain it's immobilised. I don't have a diagnostic port so I can't do a new fob/immobiliser sync so I think my best option would be to remove the immobiliser altogether. I've heard that they can be deleted from the ECU so would no longer be a problem. Can anyone confirm this? If it IS possible, who can do it? I hope these questions make sense to some of you. Thanks.
