Turtle Wax ceramic wash & wax

Post by Dorchester »

I'm amazed.
Last Saturday we went visiting our daughter & family 50 km away.
The weather was miserable, dull & drizzly and raining from time to time. I let you imagine the dampness of the road with loads of water spills...
Back home in the afternoon the car (my 75, but I may say the same with both my 214 & 25) was garaged as usual.
Generally when dry the body looks slightly stained with innumerable less or more dirty dried droplets of water, despite washing, polishing & possibly waxing beforehand.

I've had a peep on it today while putting aside some empty spare cardboard boxes.
I was utterly gobsmacked: the car was nearly immaculate as if it had just been washed and cleaned a few minutes before! :o
The reason should be that stuff used a fortnight ago for a simple washing & drying with recently purchased chamois leather sponge without any polish afterwards:

Unfortunately no significant picture could be taken in the garage, it's not enlighten enough but do trust me, it's amazing!
Never so far I'd used a ceramic car wash, just a good shampoo, and never after rain & mud splash i'd seen so clean a car just letting it drying without any kind of intervention.
That's wizardry! :o

Will definitely give this product a go when my current stock of standard Turtle Wax shampoo is used up.

I’m a big fan of the regular tests of just about everything carried out by auto express and last April the Turtle Wax ceramic wash and wax came second only due to its price. It will be on my list when I finish my current stuff. BTW I really recommend Bilt Hamber auto wheel cleaner for alloys if they are particularly grubby from brake dust.

Ditto, but do wear rubber gloves. It may be biodegradable, but if you get it on your hands, the smells lingers for quote a while!

Oh come off it lads; you’ve got me feeling guilty now. I’ll have to give my Cabbie a wash and polish this weekend.

I've just washed my 214 cabby today with Turtle Wax: I'm going out to a good restaurant in the country next Sunday! :D :cool :wink
