Does anyone know a good honest Rover mechanic or garage in Maidstone Kent area? My Dad's Rover 45 51 plate seems to have some sort of electrical problem. The engine revs dangerously fast and sometimes there is smoke. I would appreciate any ideas or advice.

You could try MG Rover Solutions in Sevenoaks, He is a Rover trained mobile mechanic. There is also Apple MG in Meopham who have Rover trained mechanics. I also have Roverman in Pluckley, near Ashford also a Rover trained mechanic although I can't find him anywhere on the internet at the moment.
