Post by patrover »

Hi
I'm going to try Lanogauard rust protection on my car, has anyone else tried it?

I’ve just sprayed it under half of my car. Ran out of time to do the other side.

So I can’t yet say if it’s good or not but it was easy to apply. Instructions suggested spraying onto non-flaky surface rust which I did in springs and suspension arms but I felt I should have really treated and painted it. This will probably survive better than fresh paint on old suspension arms though. I think one 2.5litre container will do the whole car.

I’ve no experience with Lanoguard, although have read it stinks!

I really rate BiltHamber’s products - I’ve used Dynax UC underneath a new car which still looks superb after a couple of years, and S50 in the sills of my current daily drive.

Hi.
Lanoguard applied today, took about 50 mins for all wheel arches/suspension and the underside.
All the wheel arch shields and the front engine shield were removed, as were the Disc's, callipers were covered and cable tied out of the way.
I pressure washed the underside and wire brushed it, approx 12 hours.
Never again this time of year!!!!

One of the best things to use. Friend told me it's good enough for North Sea Oil Rigs so now good enough for my cars
