ANYONE HELP WITH THIS.

Post by davieboy »

I am now ready to fit the alloy manifold off the old 214 to the replacement car. but its been a while since it was removed. the plastic manifold being replaced has 1 less vac pipe. my problem being can anyone point out which pipe goes where. I know 1 goes to the ecu, not sure which one *laughs*. does anyone have pics of an alloy maifold in place to show which pipe goes where. all the breakers have already removed them. HELP
Image which is for the ecu ?

I would think the small one goes to the ecu.
Not sure on large one but doesn't it go to the charcoal cannister??

Think the above comment is right, one for the charcoal cannister (large one), and one for the ECU small one.

My 16V MPI with plastic manifold definately has the 2 hoses, small one to ECU, and the big one to the canister as has been said.

Was your plastic manifold off an SPI, or just missing a hose? :)
