Afternoon all!

Post by Ed »

My name is Ed, I am based in Ipswich and have an R reg VVC Coupe that I am restoring. Work is needed to the bodywork. Radiator and cat replacement is due shortly.

I've always been a fan of the R8, I have had coupes before and 214SEi's. My mum still uses a late 214SLi on a N plate which is an all silver example.

Great work on the site Linds. 8)

Hi Ed,

I didn't realise you had a VVC Coupe. Looks nice from the avatar 8) .

I notice you have a 45 now too.

What has happened to the Montego HLS?

Still lots of work to do on the website part, but it is coming together. Lots more brochures coming tomorrow from Matthew, so more information to go up shortly.

Yep, I've had the VVC since July. Its had a ton of work done and now its really great to drive. Hoping to get it finished over winter.

In buying the VVC and the 45, I decided to move away from Montys (to part time atleast :*laughs*: ) so I limited myself to just my HL. The HLS ended up needing far too much work than I could handle or afford to get done. It now resides with Steve Smith and he has already completed much of the welding. :D

I am glad to hear the HLS is still being looked after.

Hi Ed - good to see you over here. A Coupe is a good alternative to a Maestro/Montego - I say!
