looking for a new 400, little help needed

well my mk1 414 doesnt sound so great these days so thought of getting a mk2 but did they do any 3 doors and did any of them have honda engines?

im thinking of decking one on coilovers but are civic suspension parts the same?

I may be wrong but as far as im aware there was no 400 3 door mk1 or mk2. I think they only put hondas in the early mk1.

:oops sorry. Be adventures and make one, you'd probably be the first and also im guessing the last :laughing2 What about a 216 gti or 216 coupe, some of them had the honda engine and are 2/3 door.

i dont mind them to much just prefered the 400, allwell i'll see what turns up.

coups were 2 door and the 216 gti were honda engine in hatchback 3 door... or honda engine coupe 2 door

the only bubble 400's that were honda powered were automatics

auto's? thats even worse *laughs*. thinking of a bubble shape 216 gti decked on borbet a rims, could look nuts.

Im in danger of doing the same again with your dreams but i dont think they made a bubble 216 gti. It would have to be a vi with the 1.8 engine or maybe a brm if your budget can stretch to one. All the bubble 1.6 models go quite well though. Love the idea of borbet A's.

im sure there were 2 216 gtis on ebay last week with honda lumps. having more thoughts on engines tho, did they do a bubble shape 2l t series? or are the engine mounts the same as k series?

ive got a lovely prelude 2.2 h22a engine to drop in some thing :cool
