I have a rover 400 2LTR 2000 i am getting a kick back on the brake pedal when i brake the abs modual has been replaced and i have the same problem can anyone help please

Does it happen just at slow speeds? If so then it could be a cracked toothed ring on the CV joint.

Is there an ABS warning light on?
If so is there a fault code number stored?
The ABS sensors can be tested by measuring their resistance I think.
