Hi guys have a 98 216 coupe 'S' reg - am thinking of changing timing belt - any odeas if the adjuster will be auto or manual?

More than likely a manual one, have a peep under the top cover and look for a vertical spring, if its there its a manual tensioner
If at first you dont succeed hit it with a hammer and have a fag!
