Rover 200 & 400 Owners Club - Club Identity

Is anyone good at graphic design who could come up with a logo for the club? Which can be used on advertising, promotional material, etc?

Unfortunately graphic design / photoshop isn't really my thing.

I was going to get some stickers made at some point which we could place in our cars.

i do have an idea 4 you smithy,how about a badge with the 3 main versions profiles in black.hatch saloon convertable with roof down in a sort of silhouette shaps.with the name undeneath.or am i missing out to many models? :idea:

yes that could be the prob.alot of modles to fit on a logo.

What about a Rover badge like they used on the Rover 75 but with R8 where it says 75?

I'll mock something up when I get the chance and then maybe if other people submit some ideas, we can have a poll. Then when we have chosen one, we could get the design sorted properly.

Something like this you mean? I used the R and come creative cut/paste and flippin' to make the 8 too! Not bad for a laptop (and mousepad) and just paint!

Yes that is the idea - the letters would need to be a bit bigger

How about a slight variation - the word CLUB where it says ROVER

- and maybe a more simplistic version that could be done in monochrome or have different backgrounds to suit car.

The more variants we get the more choice we would have for a poll.

Good suggestions so far keeping going

Simplistic is good for me, the reason being it will be more economical to have the logos as stickers for our cars.

How about doing something like the yellow one in the traditional purple rover logo of the era? Just an idea.

Also as well as R8 I think there needs to be something about 200 / 400 in there as well. As not everyone knows them by their code name. A few thoughts anyhow.
