How much water is in there? If it is not a huge amount I'd be tempted to just add a bottle of meths to the tank at every fill up for a couple of weeks. That should remove the water from the tank.

If it is lots of water I think you can make the pump run continuously by turning the igntion on and fooling the engine into thinking that there is oil pressure by shorting out the oil pressure switch. Alternatively you could just remove the electrical connections to it (under the access panel in the boot) and apply 12v directly to it to make the pump run.

hmm.. did the oil preasure switch but no change. i can find th ewiring going to the pumpm but although there is what looks like an acces panel, it doesnt give acess to anything. if i could find out the wiring scheme, i could apply power to it , if you know which one is the supply line... Fuel was about 50 50 with only a gallon of each.. have drained some, the water seemed to come out more at first than the fuel. i assume becuase its heavier than fuel?

Sounds like water in the injector. You could remove the injector rail/injector and purge it of fuel or soak it in alcohol etc to remove the water.
