Like the different wheels front to rear.

Have you thought about fitting both of the same style to the same side and seeing if anybody notices ? :laughing

Looks nice and clean. I like the colour not seen one of those on the road.

Looks incredibly high on the suspension!

The difference in the rims is down to the fact that the front tyres as fitted when I bought him were below the legal minimum of tread. Fortunately a kind scouser gave me a set off a Rover 400 with 2 good tyres of the correct rolling radius, so I fitted them to see him through the MOT. They should last out the year at which time I'll get a full matching set and have them fitted to his original rims which are in better condition than the ones I was given.

As the fronts are 14" and the rears 15" it wouldn't be safe or legal to have the same rims on each side.

As for the ride height I don't know why he's so high, but I think it probably explains why he seems so 'jiggly' even over fairly smooth road surfaces. At first I put it down to an extension of the usual 'scuttle shake' which plagues a lot of ragtops, but I detect no obvious rattles or vibration in the dash area as you would normally expect in these cases.
