hi all, just rememberd about the pics i had of my 1st car. I always wanted an r8, so when i was 17 (now 23) i pased my driving test and bought this L reg 214 8v for £100. it was a complete wreck mechanicly and cosmeticly exept the interior was as new! i reckon i spent a good £1500 quid on getting it up to scratch, it looked quite nice in the end and theHn sadly 1 day i got abit giddy and silly like a typical 18 year old and crashed straight into a traffic light :( the car was a wreck, foolishly i scrapped it, that was the worst mistake ive ever made and regret it deeply to this day! heres some pics of it after id put some wheels on it and put a straight through stainless decat exhaust on. If it was lowered i think i would of been properly nice! Theres also sum pics of the coupe i had before i resprayed it, and a another link of pics after the respray. Pity you stacked it......

yeah it had several months but it drove really badly, plus it overheated as soon as i pulled into my drive however it seemed to mend itselff and it soldierd on for a month until the head gasket finally went soon solved that. imiss it more than any othor car ive had
