Last week I bought a 214 Sli . 27,000 on the clock ex demo car and one owner. Nightfire red and in pretty much mint condition . Wanted the SEi but the mileage was so tempting on this. paid £550 and its taxed till Feb!. Pics soon

I used to love my old 214 SLi. Ours was blue over grey.

Had a K reg mpi 214SLi when i was 18 (8 years ago),all my mates were driving nova's/golf's/fiesta's e.t.c and laughed when i bought it but it didn't take long for them to realise that i'd bought a far superior car to what they were driving!,remember driving home from watching a road rally early on a sunday morning with a friend following me in a 1990 8v Golf GTi and him commenting the next day that he was really thrashing the golf to keep up with me and that he was glad i was infront because he'd have been embarased if i'd overtaken him :
For me the R8 in k-series form is one of rover's greatest achievements
Got a 1994 214 SLi 5dr in racing green as a run around myself.
