Ive owned it around 6 months. I purchased the car off a friend of mine who had the car from new. it was his pride and joy but due to ill health I persuaded him to part with it. I always admired the car and I knew how rare they were getting especially in this condition. I love this car more than the wife. :clapping

Women don't often get as attached to cars as blokes.

That is what you meant, I'm sure :wink3

I'm the other end of the 1-owner scale - a 97,000 mile M-reg 1.6 SOHC but also Tahiti :D

It's a lovely looking car. However, if you say "no negatives", it's not really feedback, is it? ( what you're really asking for is rear end kissing :). )
Out in the desert with an old Jeep and a Volvo.

Richard. Im sorry but im not looking for a rear end kissing as you put it. To be fair this car cant be faulted in anyway possible. If there was any negatives about the car I would list them as Im an honest guy.Im proud to own the vehicle.

The Honda D16 engine is a lovely engine and generally is reliable, although you can kill any engine if you try hard enough. It has a few foibles, the ignition system for example.

The comparison is always made with the K-series, which is also a lovely engine provided it's well looked after, but expecting a 20-year old engine to have been looked after for all that time, by all previous owners is expecting a lot.

Both engines respond well to a little, or so sometimes a lot, of performance tuning.
