hi spotted a silver 220gti 3dr today but i know little about them. is it a turbo engine? it looks stright and all there the owner wants £350 for it its on a J reg if anyone likes the sound of it let me know and i'll pass on where it is.If i didn't have the beautiful nightfire red 216 coupe already i'd have it

There are both NASP 220 Gti's and also Turbo GTi's which are very rare (and very fast too!).

how can u tell which is turbo'ed and which is not or is it a case of looking under the hood????

Easiest way is too look under the bonnet yes.

nasp = Natrally aspirated (mind the spelling)
