The club's stand opens to the public at 10am this morning and to the Press an hour earlier.

Jeremy Howson arrived with his 'stand in a car' Disco at 10 am and started to unload.

The tiles were down by noon and all 4 cars in place by 2.30pm. All surprisingly easy :cool

If you're interested, come and see us on the stand or message us.

This car will be cleaned and serviced and have new brakes fitted

Rover 25
A new headlining will be fitted

Rover 200vi
A new headlining will be fitted
The sunroof glass panel will be replaced

Some careful thinking was necessary before worked commenced on the 416GSi...

The Streetwise is our 'half-and-half' car this year - you see the transformation soon !

Unfortunately I’ll have to drop out of tomorrow, as I’m a tad unwell - I don’t think those on the stand want it!

Just about recovered from the blur of the last few days... Here are a few of the pics from the show. Others will post more shortly soon, I'm sure.

We did the 'half-and-half' clean on the Steetwise

Image

Kevin and Linsday changed the front discs and pads

Image

Its engine bay looked a lot better after a good clean and it has new oil and filters. Including a new cabin filter, possibly its first :o

Image

It was all-hands-to-deck on Sunday with all 4 cars being worked on simultaneously.

Image

Headlinings were changed on both the 25 and the vi and look fab !

Image

And by 6.30, everything on the stand that didn't move under its own power was back in Jeremy's Disco 3

Image

Thanks to everyone who came to give their time, skill or smiles on the stand and to all visitors who called in to say hi see what we were up to :clapping

We replaced 2 sagging headlinings over the weekend. This is mine in the daylight

Image

The suede-like material goes rather well with the ZR seats :cool

Image

To replace the blind material, you need to remove it, which requires removing the glass sunroof panel first, so it was worth fitting the NOS panel I had in stock.

Image

Many thanks to Steve for the material, Sammy for doing most of the removal and refitting and Iain for the NOS panel :thumbup
