can anyone tell me what type this is ,it in my 95 p reg 416 sli...

ps ,it was this mucky when i collected the car yesterday ,but it will be getting a good clean up soon ,has only done 67,000 miles ......

is the k-series engine a good or bad engine ??. sorry im not clued up on these as im new to Rovers.

Revs nice, quite pokey. Normal trouble with them is people don't notice water leaks developing.

The main problem is the K has a low coolant capacity so it doesn't take long to run out of water and hence then causes headgasket failure.

Gearboxs are known to have input shaft bearing problems.

I had a 1.4 and did 60,000 miles in it pretty much trouble free.
