Forgive my stupidity re. my 220 GSi, can someone help?

Post by DomJeans »

Hi Folks

I have recently got an M reg NA 220 GSi; is a T series or an M Series engine? Is there a recommended garage within striking distance of Southampton for a good old service? (e.g Cam belt change etc as it's done 138 K miles).

Many thanks!!

Dom

Thanks for that, I appreciate it..as you can tell I'm new re. Rovers (apart from a Rover 100 I had for a bit as a spare). I'm loving this 220 Gsi though (apart from the brakes are a bit spongy and the steering is a tad over-powered);. It's quick and lovely and torquey through all the revs. Great.

Had a whole host of cars and was always a big fan of 'British' cars...Had a couple of Triumph Dolomites and Toledos, Allegros (estate with the full length sunroof, and some of the frog ones), Old Minis, Vauxhall Chevettes, Astras, Cavaliers, Montego too...Crikey, I have had loads of motors I have just realised, and I'm still only 21!! (actually that last bit is a lie).
