hiyo,
could someone recomend sum good brake pads for vented disc R8 214. dont care bout noise or dust output, just want sum pads which stop the car when brakes are applied and dont fade so willingly

Red stuff or yellow stuff may be suitable. Bigger brake discs are the best option though.
If you need any of the above then the clubs recommended supplier should be able to help you out.

Stick some vented Turbo brakes on there.
I just happen to have a set available for a small sum of money.

Same brakes on the vented 214 as the turbo. (262mm).

Always thought the brakes on my turbo were rubbish. I guess that's why. Suppose they were perfectly good for a 1.4 and 1.6 but not the turbo. They even struggle on my vvc.

The brakes on my old SEi were solids, not vented.
(I think, it was a long time ago)

I'd suggest Mintex 1144 pads. Not the cheapest, but they certainly do the job.

mintex are shite so are ebc red/yellow stuff pads i reccomend halfords own pads im gunna pur chase me some of them soon for my motor

I think you'll be in the minority there. The halfords pads are fine though.
