The parameters have changed in that the scheme insurers don't accept bhp increase mods by more than 20bhp or people with more than one conviction or who have had a fault claim in the last 12 months.

I did get a quote today but couldn't get anywhere near the best price I'd been offered by Swintons. Shame really.

I had the same when i renewed my insurance in August, could'nt get anywhere near the best price.

I think this may have been because i've only got one years ncb, although in reality have 12 years of accident free driving (but lost my ncb) when me and the wife went down to one car a couple of years back.
