After several time's trying to clean "ROSIE" this morning(between the Rain & Wind+Cold..in the end settled for a quick rub over/polish,before heading for the gathering.

When we arrived found out the CALDECOTTE ARMS..Was in fact in the process of a "Major Refit"!!
But was pleased to see that other car's had turned up.
The Weather was nice & sunny,IF a little bit cold!

A Local VW Club turned up! called "LOW & SLOW",this turned out to be the highlight of the afternoon
Three really Low Slung VW beetle's Two of these were "RAT LOOK" car's & the 3rd finished in a matt look finish silk black paint
Other beetle example's...one two tone blue/cream,the other super beetle in red.
caddy van in army olive green,Low slung Jetta,split screen low slung orange/black camper van,T4 van,lupo,early golf.
Really friendly bunch of people!!
Really made my son's day! must admit "loved those Rat Look Bug's".................. PHIL.

Hi,Andy..My son took some photo's(mainly vee-dub's) Who can blame him!!

(Can see us selling "Rosie" before long,If Nathan get's his way!!)

no but it was only advertised on the forum. i may put it on ebay at some point. ive been using it daily recently and just been enjoying driving it. keep asking myself why im selling it.

Hi,we were looking at the other car's when he turned up later....did'nt see him get out of the car,but did notice a big fellow not sure what car he had turned up in
Only information can give you,the OPEL MANTA was a "Gold Hatchback" & parked up with the G.M lad's,we were parked at the other end of the line.
checked with Nathan,we did'nt get a photo of this car due to the way it was parked.

Andy,why are you selling it? Are you after another ROVER COUPE? or have you something else in mind?
I know myself only to often when you make your mind up to sell a car, you can get second thought's! Better the "Devil" you know sometime's If you change like for like?

im after another turbo coupe or maybe even a 220(3dr)/420. i had a turbo coupe before the vvc but had to sell it as the running costs were getting silly. i have a 414 now which is used for daily duties so the coupe is just a weekend car therefore the running costs are not an issue.
