New photos of my 92 turquise cab

Post by r1ckyg89 »

Yesterday me and my girlfreind went for a smooth drive down the m6 to her sisters in Didcot. Whilst down ther i washed the car off and cleaned it inside an then took some much needed new pics! Ive got my engined re-build on wednesday to stop tjhe oil burning, cant wait to have confidence in my engine again! What do you think of the wheels? i cant make my mind up weather i did the right thing putting them on, unsure weather they suit the car, would anybody be interested in a swap plus cash if needs be for a nice set of 17" MG straights? My 17" wolfrace wheels have 2 brand new tyres and 2 which are excellent. 1 wheel does have some slight kurb damage, will get a pic of it tomorrow. Hope u like the pics! (Dont forget to open with a new window ppl)

Looks very nice.

Alloys have me in two minds! Think they might suit the early shape better than a pair of straights, but not sure...

Really difficult to say, the value of Cabriolets seem to be at an all time low at the moment! Normally there is a seasonal bump but it doesn't seem to have happened yet this year.

It does look in very good condition for its age / mileage. To me you've nearly got the perfect model, early, Honda, full leather etc etc, but then alot of people buy on age, and some prefer the facelift models, newer dash etc etc.

nice car,but id lose the alloys.
my opinion, but i went for some 17 multispoke wolfrace alloys, but as soon as ive got my original rovers refurbed the will be back on.
stick to mg/rover alloys, look much better i think.

i agree, im thinking some straights are goingf to be the way forward. i think due to the cars age i think it deserves not to have boy racer bits added to it. think ill get myselft some straights! Ive got a grill from an early coupe (not the chrome 1) a coupe spoiler, and also plan to get some coupe bumpers and have it all painted nicely!
