I know you expect to see vented bonnets on Evo's Impreza's and Lancia Integrales etc. But im thinking more from a cooling point of view than for the looks or visual impact. Whatever vents i fit they would have to be smooth/flush with the bonnet surface, and i think i've just come up with another great option as an alternative to RST or XKR vents. How about Rover 100 vents? If you look at them they sit perfectly flush in the bonnet, and they are small enough to offer a wide choice of fitting locations. I think they would work very well at letting some heat out, and not ruin the look of the coupe bonnet as they are nice and subtle!
