Oh well not done really much trying to sort garage out ie lighting rubbish when lights are not up to it but all done

So I gave andy (agw01) tinkle on the old dog and bone come over and play :*laughs*:

Had to wait for two hoses to come before any work

145 degree bend

90 degree bend 2" - 2.25 for the turbo to intercooler

So there it is as you see had to cut the right hand bumper support and the bumper was modified had to do the best really as ordered wrong kit  and it may look like I am going to lose fog light but had no time tonite so have tinkle tomoz

Well good and bad bits really passed mot :w00t:

Drove to mot fealt good as well no stuttering of the car spooled good sounds good pulls good as well only problem I found was it was hard get in 1st example coming to lights slowing down nearly stopped had to push hard get it in but all other gears ok when driving slipped in nice but I think I've got leak from gearbox, I think from the top up oil bolt wondering if washers crushed as I have got little puddle under car just wondering if that's the problem oh and needles bouncing abit on clocks

Next problem is drove sweet and idled good mot started and finished then car won't idle at all I have reset stepper but nothing drove home and every time I dipped the clutch car would cut out

But again car passed its mot emissions bit high but went good after abit so going to shove some cata lean in see if that helps

Well I thought I would start on the car seeing that I am off all week :*laughs*:

This was my problem off the gti not ideling properly there screw had wound it self back away from the stepper hence not idling
Image

So the bracket came yesterday from Ian as the rubber one is rubbish

So I reset the stepper first before start could see the stepper moving the butterfly :D
So I started the gti and dled excellent so I reatched the intercooler pipes then I sprayed carb cleaner on all the joints etc for leaks and waited for the tone off the engine change jobs gooden
so I thought why I am messing with it might as well do oil pressure switch
Image
Used plumbers tape and screwed it in not all the way as it's tapered going down the oil pump then connected to gauge
This pic is ideling
Image
And this is my boost gauge on idle sure it's -6 on idle that make sense
Image
Well gbe mbc came to day of m4cwo
