The alternator belt arrived and I fitted it. Bit of a pig of a job because the belt to the power steering pump is in the way and there is minimal access. Anyway done now and the good news is it all works and the battery light switched off straight away once I'd started the engine. So fixed in six days from collection last Saturday.

So all is on target for start of May. I just need to tax and insure it now because it has three months' MOT left.

I used meguires Ultimate Protectant Dash & Trim Restorer on my bumpers and it came up a treat still hasent faded after 3 weeks

I bought some of this and applied it to the front bumper this afternoon. The results were very promising. Pictures show front bumper which has been treated compared to the untreated rear bumper.
