I am looking for some SEi seats for my 216 and stumbled upon this Rover 600 and saw it had similar seats:

So the question is, if I was able to source a suitable Rover 600, would the seats fit in my R8?

Great thanks, that's another option to think about then. The 600 front seats look slightly larger? But it's good to know they'll fit.

I've just resurrected this thread because I've invested in what purports to be a 600 interior. I've just realised that the fron seats don't fit; the inner bracket is the wrong shape.

So simple question are 600 front seats supposed to be a simple swop/bolt in, or do I need to do some fettling? They certainly look like 600 seats, they have two adjuster wheels sitting in a plastic type shroud along the outside of the seat squab. The other point of interest is that the seat belt buckle on the seat is incompatable with my 216SLi seat belt tongues.

Fitted 800 RECARO  seat in my cabby and had to mod the 200 series frame to match the 800 seats , look good and very comfy and supportive .
