Hi Everyone, Im now the proud owner of Ashleys R200 Cabriolet. :)
Its a fine little car that just needs a little pampering to get it back up and running.

Time to start looking around for a new radiator. :) Im not in a mad rush to get it back on the road. As long as I can get it through the winter without deteriating and on the road for next spring I'll be happy.

Blue thing is a bit of a coincidence! But looks good :) Ordered a Radiator & coolant, oil & filter and a headgasket set with new bolts. Should turn up in the next few days :)

if you are going hg deep add water pump and thermostat & belts to your list, that way you are covered for everything (except clutch) and you should be happy for years.

Regular servicing leads to a very long life after the initial hg change as well as a re-torque on the head after you have done a few miles.

Forgotten whether the engine type has been mentioned earlier. Would this re-torque be advised for a K-series, given the head bolt tightening for those is a 2-stage process?
