216 cabbie front window adjustment

Post by martin_bmth »

Hi Folks,

Ive noticed my drivers window is squeeking against the rubber on the roof recently and it looks like its started to ride up a little high (maybe 1/4"). ive searched the forum to see if there is an easy guide to the adjustements available and cant find one.

Does anyone know if/ where the adjustment is to stop the window going up too far?

TIA
Martin

I'm pretty sure the answer will be somewhere in one of these....

Let me know if you need me to dig out the page for the 'Front Door Pad'

OOOOHhhh nice job Ashley :) I might need to get myself one of those workshop manuals :)
Im hoping I can work out how the door panel comes off ;) *laughs*!

Does the book show a bit clearer where that nut is? I guess that cable and clip will give it away. :clapping
I know on the mgf/ tf you can adjust all sorts of angles and heights and i wanted to make sure i got the right adjustment nut :D

Haha yes I'm sure you'll cope!

Manual does elaborate any further.

I stumbled across that set on eBay for sale locally think I paid £10 as the only bidder.
