I have no idea what the history is or the specs behind these engines, could someone enlighten me. :D

as far as I know the engine was built for btcc racing in 91 this is 1 or only 2 engines left there wasn't many made I think it was around 3 or 5 made the spec of the engine is
strenghtend steel block
billet steel crankshaft
new main bearing caps
metro 6r4 steel con rods
cosworth forged pistons
fully gas flowed head with big valves
double valve springs
special cams
dry sump
tony law down pipe
throttle body inlet
dta ecu
the engine is good for 260+bhp NASP
I do have all the factory drawings for the engine

it will be nice to get this one back to its former glory john its a part of rovers history and a part of the R8 history not a lot of people know about
was a once in life time chance too get hold of this engine I couldn't say no to :)

yes craig if you would be willing to pay the right money for it plus it belongs in a white 3 door not red :thumbup1
